Article IName The name of this organization shall be the Marshfield Band Booster Club. Article IIMission Statement To create an atmosphere of communication between the band, its directors and our group so that we can understand and supply the needs of the band. Also to increase attention of our community toward the instrumental department. To provide financial and emotional support for all students in the instrumental department. Article IIIOfficers & Duties Section 1. President

Article IVExecutive Committee Section 1. The Executive Committee shall consist of the officers and two parent representatives, to be elected. Of the six, two must be Jr. High parents and two must be High School parents. Section 2. Any member of the Executive Committee can call meetings as needed. Article VCommittees Committees will be formed at anytime. Article VIFinances Section 1. Money shall be gathered and spent for the overall good of the band. Money will be kept in a local bank and will require the signature of the treasurer and the president in order to write a check. At no time shall the band directors' names be on the checking account. Our books will be open and will be subject to reviews by any member of the Marshfield Band parents or the band directors. Section 2. Any purchases of non-consumable goods will be the property of the school, not the Band Parents. Article VIIMeeting Time At this point in time, the meetings will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. This will be subject to change due to school schedules and/or wishes of the Marshfield Band Parents. Article VIIIElection of Officers Section 1. The election of new officers will be done in the May meeting. The old officers shall train the new officers during the summer so that they will be prepared to start when school resumes the next fall. Section 2. Any vacancies in officers (if for any reason they cannot complete their duties), shall be appointed by the Board. Article IXDissolution In the event this organization should dissolve, this organization shall do so under the guidelines prescribed in the Statutes of the State of Missouri outlined in the General Not-For-Profit Act and its assets donated to the Webster County School District R-I Marshfield High School.
