Summer Band Schedule
2009
(Grade levels reflect 2008-2009 school year)
Memorial Day Concert – 7th & 8th Grade
May 25, 9:45 – Arrive at Marshfield Cemetery, performance is at 10:00; we should be done by 11:00. Parents are invited, lawn chairs are recommended.
4th of July Parade & Concert – Grades 7-11
June 30 – July 3, 3:00-5:30pm – Rehearse in the High School Band room. Flags need to also bring their instruments. Everyone should wear tennis shoes and dress in cool clothing.
July 4 – Parade & Concert – Line-up 9:30, Parade at 10:00, concert to follow.
July 22 – 24 & July 27 - 29, 8:00am-4:00pm – This is a one-time test for each individual. It takes about 15 minutes to take your test. Call the Jr. High band room to reserve your time @ 859-2120 ext. 2311. This is required of all Jr. High Students. Tests will be done in the Jr. High Band Room. There is a lunch break from 12:00-1:00.
August 3-7, 10:30am – 1:30pm This is for all Band students going into High School Band. Wear tennis shoes and cool clothing. Also, bring your instruments or flags. It is very important that everyone attends! Monday, August 3rd is for incoming freshmen and Colorguard only. Upper classmen come Tuesday – Friday.
